Carbon Activated Timber Bench is designed for public areas and is made from reclaimed wood planks. It challenges the notions of weight and stability. While the volume of the wood planks appears as seemingly massive blocks, they are only loosely connected and in an unstable state. Tiny threads of carbon fibres tie the massive blocks together to give them their stability. They also reinforce the blocks to even add strength to the wood planks.

The Living Lab interior space is created refurbished and/or recycled material for the visitor to enjoy the possibility of circular design, and constructed with No-landfill wasted concept. The event was conducted from 18th July to 31st October 2019 at Hua Shan Art station in Taipei City to host more than 20 events of lecture and workshops about circular economy.
Continue readingThe exhibition was at Mountain Alishan, a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, which combines arts with the Taiwanese traditional tea industry. The cross-sections cooperation of this exhibition could bring out the new business module. On each package, tourists can see different expressions conveying the same theme, "Taiwan." Immersing in the beautiful scenery of Taiwan, visitors could have a deeper understanding of Taiwanese tea culture and industry.
Continue readingUnLimited is a fully waterproof and size adjustable backpack tailored to the needs of an urban slow cyclist. It can both expand to accommodate unexpected items and compress to keep the backpack streamlined to allow for better mobility. Following the design philosophy for 'design of reduction', the backpack is sealed by heat welding and made of mono-material DuPont Hytrel, or similar recyclable thermoplastic elastomers with different levels of hardness. This feature is in stark contrast to the backpacks on the market today, which are multi-material and hard to recycle.

The experiment and development process was based on creating a new material that emits the natural essence of lavender flower. Therefore, here is a lighting object that, in addition to its functionality, will bring those who give it a chance, closer to nature. Lavender, its unique texture and fragrance, are found in the Fragrance Lamp which is part of the sustainable design products.
Continue readingIn this artificial photosynthesis system, the system bionics the roots, stems, veins, and leaf tissue of plants. In the bionics of the stems and leaves, the system use the function of 3D printing to print the veins of the water in the frame of the curtain wall, which includes the water needed before photosynthesis, and post-photosynthesis liquid sending away. There are three layers of tissue in the frame, the upper cover (tempered glass), the cell frame (middle frame), the lower plate and the artificial cells in the middle.
